Deadlines and Dates
April 14 — Deadline for change of party affiliation. A form is available here. Mail or deliver the Party Affiliation Form to the Commissioner of Registration in your county or you can also file it with your municipal clerk.
May 13 — Last day to register to vote for the Primaries. A form is available here. For more information, contact Superintendent of Elections, One Bergen County Plaza, Room 380, Hackensack, NJ 07601. (201) 336-6100.
May 27 — If you are applying for an absentee ballot by mail, it must be received by today.
June 2 — If you are applying for an absentee ballot in person, you must do so by 3 p.m.
June 3 — Primary Election Day. Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
